Pearl Of Africa Hygiene Limited was set up to close a simple gap: quality baby diaper pants, made in Uganda, at prices Ugandan households can plan around. Too much of what reaches the market is imported, expensive, and inconsistent from one batch to the next.
We took a different route and invested in local production. Our plant at Plot 14, Block 543, MMP Industrial Park in Buikwe District runs a modern line staffed by a local team. From there we supply Tiny Hugs — our premium range — and Puffies, an everyday option that keeps quality within reach for more families.

We import SAP and fluff pulp from top international suppliers and manufacture the absorbent core ourselves. Non-woven top sheets and elastics are bought to the same standard and checked on arrival.

Clean, controlled conditions on the floor, with handling procedures that protect the product from raw material to sealed pack.

In-line inspection plus finished-pack sampling, to UNBS standards, before anything is released for despatch.
