Your brand, made on our line in Uganda
We already manufacture two of our own diaper pant brands in Buikwe District. The same plant, materials and quality checks are available to you under your own label.
A local manufacturer, not a trading company
Pearl Of Africa Hygiene Limited runs its own plant at Plot 14, Block 543, MMP Industrial Park, Buikwe District. We are not an agent placing your order with somebody else's factory — the line, the team and the quality checks are ours, and you can come and stand next to them.
That matters for a private label buyer in two ways. Lead times are measured against a line we control rather than a shipping schedule from Asia, and when something needs adjusting — a pack count, a material, a print — you are talking to the people who will actually make the change.
We already produce Tiny Hugs and Puffies to the same specification we would build for you, so nothing here is theoretical.

Built around pull-on baby pants
Our line is set up for pull-on pants, the format Ugandan parents buy most. Tell us what you need and we will be straight about what the plant can and cannot do.

Other formats
Taped diapers, adult care and other categories are not on our line today. Ask us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether it is something we can plan for.
From first conversation to delivered cartons
Five steps. We will tell you at each one what we need from you and what happens next.
Talk to us
Tell us the product, the sizes, the volumes and the market. If you already have a specification, send it. If you do not, we will work from what our own brands run.
Quote and specification
We come back with what the line can do, the materials we would use, and a price against your volume. Nothing is committed at this stage.
Samples
We produce samples to the agreed specification so you can check the fit, absorbency and finish before any full run is scheduled.
Production
Once you approve the sample, your order is scheduled on the line and runs through the same quality process as our own brands.
Packing and handover
Packed to your carton configuration and ready for collection or delivery. We stay reachable afterwards — you have the number of the people who made it.
Checked at every stage, not just at the end
The same process that runs on our own brands runs on yours. Nothing leaves the plant without passing it.
Incoming materials
Absorbent polymer, fluff pulp, non-woven top sheets and elastics are bought from established international suppliers and checked on arrival before they reach the line.
In-line inspection
Checks run through the production process rather than only at the end, so a problem is caught on the line instead of in a finished carton.
Finished pack sampling
Sealed packs are sampled against our standard for absorbency, seal integrity and pack count before release for despatch.
Controlled environment
Clean, controlled conditions on the floor, with handling procedures that protect the product from raw material through to sealed pack.
Quoted against your specification
Minimums, lead times and payment terms depend on the sizes, materials and packaging your product calls for. Send us your requirements and we will confirm each of these in writing with your quote.

Common questions from OEM buyers
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. We own and run the plant at MMP Industrial Park in Buikwe District, and we already produce our own brands there — Tiny Hugs and Puffies. Nothing is subcontracted to another factory.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes, by appointment. We would rather you came and looked at the line than took our word for it. Get in touch and we will arrange a time.
What products can you make for my brand?
Pull-on baby diaper pants are what our line is built for, in the Small to Extra Large range we already run. Other formats are not on the line today — ask and we will tell you honestly whether we can plan for them.
What is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the sizes, materials and packaging your specification calls for, so we quote it against your actual project rather than publishing one figure that would fit nobody. Tell us what you need and we will confirm it with your quote.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. We produce samples to the agreed specification before any full run so you can check fit, absorbency and finish. Sample lead time and cost are confirmed with your quote.
What is the lead time?
It depends on materials and volume, and we confirm it with your quote. Because the line is ours and it is here in Uganda, scheduling is measured against our own production rather than an import shipment.
What certifications do you hold?
Our production runs to UNBS-aligned quality standards for disposable baby diapers. Certificate detail is being confirmed and will be published on the quality page in full.
Can you use my packaging design?
Yes. Send your artwork and we will quote the film and print. If the brand is not designed yet, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will set out what we need from you.
Do you export?
Tell us where you are and what you need, and we will give you a straight answer on whether we can serve that market and on what terms.
Tell us what you want made
The more you can tell us about sizes, volumes and your market, the more useful our first reply will be.
