Pearl Of Africa Hygiene Limited manufactures baby hygiene products at Plot 14, Block 543, MMP Industrial Park, Buikwe District, Uganda. We are responsible for the information collected through this website.

We only collect what you type into a form and send to us. Nothing on this site asks you to create an account.

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address and phone number, and your message. If you enquire as a retailer or distributor we also collect your business name, your role, the area you cover, your town and the number of outlets you run. If you enquire about OEM, private-label or converting work we also collect your company, your market, what you want made or converted, and your expected volume.

We do not collect payment details anywhere on this site.

When you submit a form we record a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. The hash cannot be reversed into your IP address. We use it only to limit how many messages one sender can submit in a short period, which is what stops the form being used for spam.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as any web host does.

We use your information to answer your enquiry, to supply you if you become a customer or trade partner, and to keep a record of what was agreed.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you sent us an enquiry.

Enquiries are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon on servers in the United States. A copy of each enquiry is emailed to our team through Google's Gmail service so that we see it promptly.

Images published on this site are hosted by Cloudinary. These are our own photographs and brand artwork, not anything you send us.

This means your information leaves Uganda and is processed abroad by those providers on our behalf.

This website sets no cookies for ordinary visitors. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

A single session cookie is set only for our own staff when they sign in to the dashboard that manages this site.

If we later switch on Google Analytics or the Meta pixel, those services will set their own cookies and this policy will be updated before they go live.

We keep enquiries for as long as we may reasonably need them — to follow up, to supply you, and to keep a record of a commercial relationship. Enquiries marked as spam are deleted routinely.

If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Email info@pearl.ug and we will respond.

We will ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request, so that nobody else can obtain or delete your information.

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the dashboard where enquiries are read is restricted to named staff accounts, each protected by a password stored only as a hash. Every change made in the dashboard is recorded in an audit log.

This site is for parents, retailers, distributors and business customers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page. Significant changes will be noted here with the date they took effect.
